Terms and Conditions
The following terms and conditions apply to bookings made for holidays /
accommodation at Chalet Russell and Apartment Fuscia and also to bookings for services provided by Chalet Russell.
For terms and conditions for other properties shown on this site please refer to the appropriate web pages or contact the property owner direct.
General Terms...
1. Bookings for accommodation will be accepted by email, telephone or post and will be held as provisional for 14 days - by which time a non returnable deposit of 10% of the
total accommodation cost must have been paid - if no payment is received within this
time - the period will be offered again for booking
2. The full balance for accommodation will be payable not less than 8 weeks before the start of the stay. An email reminder will be issued to this effect 12 weeks prior to the start of the stay.
3. Any stays booked less than 8 weeks prior to the first day of stay will be payable in full
at the time of booking
4. ‘On spec’ bed and breakfast and half board stays will be payable in full at the time of stay
5. Payment for accommodation and other services offered by Chalet Russell must be made in EUROS and can be accepted by means of International bank transfer, Euro cheque or credit card transaction – full details of how to pay will be provided at the time
of booking
6. Cancellation by YOU –
a) More than 8 weeks prior to your stay - deposit lost but no further payment due
b) Less than 8 weeks but more than 6 weeks - we will refund 50% of your holiday
payment
c) Less than 6 weeks we are unable to refund unless we can re-book your dates - in which case we will refund the total holiday payment less the 10% deposit
7. Cancellation by CHALET RUSSELL - in the very unlikely event that we have to cancel your holiday / stay we will refund all monies paid in full.
8. Pre booked lift passes, grocery packs and other activities organised by Chalet
Russell on your behalf must be paid for (according to the methods outlined above)
prior to the first day of your stay (unless alternative agreement is made and confirmed in writing) - monies paid will not normally be refundable
9. All facilities offered by Chalet Russell (either at the main chalet or apartment Fuscia) are offered subject to availability and no compensation will be offered if such facilities
are unavailable for any reason – this particularly refers to provision of the hot tub and internet access which may be effected by factors outside of our control
10. Every guest staying at a Chalet Russell property must ensure that they have appropriate travel and medical insurance – including ski / adventurous activity cover as appropriate – guests may be required to provide proof of this.
Ski / mountain cover can be obtained at the time of ordering lift passes

11. A security deposit will be required for all stays at Fuscia which are not paid for in advance with a Credit card or in full on arrival by debit card (applies only to last minute stays) -
This will be 100 euros / £100 and can be paid by means of euros or sterling cheque
to suit you - the cheque should be handed to us or our representative at the start of your stay - the deposit will be refunded minus deductions for damage and excessive
cleaning - your cheque or a cheque for the balance after deductions will be posted to you within 14 days of your departure date - reasons for any deduction will be provided
12. Pets are allowed in apartment Fuscia only by prior agreement between the leaser
and Chalet Russell

13. Friendly dogs are accommodated at the chalet FREE of Charge - but you will be financially responsible for any damage caused by them or any expenses incurred providing for them ie; food, nappies etc
14.Children under 2yrs are accommodated according to the terms set down in the
holiday package
15. Where your holiday package includes Transport arrangements – Chalet Russell will endeavour to ensure that all provision is made by either itself or other fully licensed
and insured local chalet owners or transport companies – if for any reason this is not possible you will be advised in advance of the commencement of the journey.
Chalet Russell will whenever necessary ensure that appropriate child seats / booster cushions are available and will require that they, along with seat belts for all guests are used in the proper manner for all journeys.
Chalet Russell will not accept responsibility for any injury that occurs when the appropriate seat belt or child restraint is not used.
